The Power of Python – An Intermediary and Quick Approach
This tutorial provides an intermediate approach of the Python language. We’ll cover data centric approaches to build exciting and data driven apps quickly, efficiently and with effective formattable display options including graphical output! Topics include lists, dictionaries, iterators, lambdas, file IO (formats: csv, json), data visualizations, and web APIs. This workshop is designed for people with two or more years of Python experience.

James Papademas is an Industry Professor and Graduate Advisor at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
For years, he has taught various computer programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, MySQL,
PHP as well as apps for Intelligent devices (Android/IOS). Recently he has done PD training for Middle School
teachers on usages of Python with embedded systems such as the Raspberry PI for STEM projects.
In addition to teaching, he as served as an AITP Advisor and is currently a Full Stack Web Developer.
