Julia Minkowski is a Senior Engagement Manager at ThreatMetrix, part of LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Julia previously worked with Verizon Wireless, CashEdge, Fiserv, Signifyd and other global companies. She started as a Head of Billing and Payment Operations for a top Israeli cable TV company, moving into Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse field. From there she advanced to Predictive Analytics in Fraud and Risk Management, building top notch processes to help banks and e-commerce clients to fight fraud and to minimize losses using data driven decisions.
Julia holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Open University of Israel and Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate from Stanford University.
Kim Williams has deep roots in Creative Direction and Branded User Experience Design Leadership. She led major client work at prestigious agencies such as Ogilvy, a global advertising, marketing and public relations agency. Kim also orchestrated Design System and Rebranding teams to pioneer innovations at eBay and Indeed, two highly impactful billion dollar brands in the consumer space.
Kim currently leads a team of designers (interaction, visual, and brand), design technologists, content strategists, writers, design ops, and UX researchers. Her team is deployed across the United States (San Francisco, Seattle, and Austin) and Japan (Tokyo). She oversees Indeed’s core job search experience, shipping the company’s first design system and piloting new native apps.
Kim has expertise in threading together and synthesizing the vision of brand, creative, and product technologies. Her work is about leading design at scale to craft experiences that are human, empathetic, hopeful, and trusted. She aims to mold the world’s #1 job search site into an even more meaningful partner in the worklife of people everywhere.
When Kim’s not nerding out on color theory or micro-animations, she’s hopping around San Francisco and Oakland with her husband and precocious toddler for playdates and adventures.
Lida Tohidi has 10+ years of experience, ranging from working in a Fortune 1000 company to a venture fund to startups. Initiatives and teams that Lida led include: launching a national incubator, advising startups that have raised over $500 million, and winning international competitions, such as the Google Startup Battle award out of 1000+ teams.
Lida is very passionate about diversity and inclusion in tech and beyond, and she has honored it by speaking. In the last year alone, Lida spoke at conferences and events at ACT-W, Diversability, ExpatWoman, Google, Latinos in Tech, MakeSchool, Outco, PWIT, Tencent, ThoughtWorks, Twitch, WellsFargo, Women in STEM, and WEST (Women Entering and Staying in Tech).
Lida has had experience in initiating, leading, and completing projects in Australia, Bénin, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Malawi, Switzerland, the UAE, UK, and USA. In short, she has lived and worked on all continents (though still awaiting an invitation from Antarctica), and speaks 3 languages well (and another 3 poorly).
Lilit Yenokyan has BS in Applied Math from Yerevan State University and MS in Computer Science from University of Michigan. She started her career as software engineer and worked at number of startups. Her main focus has later shifted to architecting automation frameworks. Lilit later worked at Online Services department at Microsoft developing editorial tools.
In 2013 Lilit joined Netflix as Senior Software Engineer. There she worked on number of teams, focusing on improving video delivery and bringing to Netflix users key features such as mobile downloads. Netflix nurtured Lilit’s curiosity of chasing inventions and doing things no one imagined possible before. Last fall, Lilit joined Silicon Valley startup, Pivotus Ventures, as Director of Engineering, where she leads teams responsible for software delivery pipeline, continuous integration and deployment, testing and infrastructure. She is a frequent speaker at technical conferences and events.
