Janani Pathangi, Distinguished Engineer at Optum

Janani Pathangi is a Distinguished Engineer at Optum. She leads a small innovative, high performing team and has on boarded many new technologies (big data, IoT, AI Chatbots etc.,) at Optum. Melissa Flicek, Global Head, Global IT, Business and Customer Digital Platforms, Medtronic

Melissa leads Global IT’s Business and Customer Digital Solutions, focused on developing technology solutions that drive business growth, enable innovation, ensure a strong customer experience, and can scale rapidly and efficiently. Melissa brings a passion for building an omni-channel user experience across channels; optimizing the best of each customer touch point.  Prior to joining Medtronic, she spent more than 9 years at Target, where she built and ensured exceptional digital experience on target.com, mobile (including all guest-facing apps), social and in-store digital technology. She has held a number of leadership positions with national wireless carriers, leading major projects with Cellular One, AT&T Wireless and Nextel Partners (now SprintNextel).

Julie Durham, Vice President, Software Engineering and Payment Integrity, Optum

In her current role, Julie Durham is accountable for all aspects of technology for payment integrity. She leads more than 500 software engineers who drive and support the full suite of Optum® payment integrity capabilities. Prior to joining Optum in 2016, Julie spent five years as part of the senior technology leadership team for Best Buy, based in Minneapolis. Previously, Julie worked for SAP, ExxonMobil, Al-Futtaim and GE. She has more than 15 years of senior IT executive experience. She’s led high-performing technology teams to deliver enterprise platforms spanning digital, e-commerce, health care, ERP, marketing/CRM, supply chain and cloud-powered big-data analytics across diverse industries and locations including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North and South America.

Anu Jain, Vice President, Provider, Member and Data Management Engineering, Optum

Anu has spent 20+ years working in the technology industry with companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 50 companies. Anu has held several engineering management roles where she implemented large scale Big Data Platforms, Data Engineering products, and establish Data Quality, Governance and Security solutions. Anu’s passion is making petabyte scale analytics possible and increasing the productivity of data scientists and data engineers by building solutions which are highly available, scalable and easy to use.

Heather Mickman, Vice President, Enterprise Services + Platforms, Optum

Throughout her career, Heather has built APIs to unlock enterprise data, created awesome platforms, led Ops organizations, and built supply chain software for Fortune 50 companies. Heather has a passion for technology, building high performing teams, driving a culture of innovation, and having fun along the way.

  • There is a large parking ramp behind the main buildings, please park there and use the stairs/elevator to enter through the Skyway Level. No parking permit is required. This is the only entrance that visitors are allowed to enter through
