AnitaB.org Chicago/ISACA Cyber Security Training Program

March 23, 2019

We aim to create an accessible cybersecurity training program that can help close the skills gap by offering training and workforce opportunities for women in underrepresented communities in Chicago. ISACA’s CSX Training Platform forms the base of our hands-on training program in a collaborative environment. The cohort of women will complete online training in a classroom setting. Skilled instructors will lead them through a series of online learning labs, first on the basics of cybersecurity and then with real work cybersecurity scenarios. Following an intense program with training on Saturdays, students can move through the modules at their own pace, with support from Instructors, Graduate Student Assistants, and Mentors in the industry.
