WiT Leaders Shaping Our Future

March is Women’s History Month and ABI.Chicago has organized a panel of five female senior-level technology executives who will share their journeys & challenges. Join them and their other esteemed speakers for inspiring & enlightening conversation. Plus, you’ll hear exciting news first-hand from Dr. Whitney. A continental breakfast will be served. Dr. Telle Whitney has served as AnitaB.org’s CEO since 2002 and has led their global growth, in size and impact, reaching over 100,000 people worldwide. In 1994, she co-founded the Grace Hopper Celebration with Anita Borg which has become their flagship program. Today, this annual event attracts over 15,000 attendees. Prior to AnitaB.org, she has held senior engineering management positions. She has received many awards, including the Association for Computing Machinery’s Distinguished Service award, the Computing Research Association’s A. Nico Habermann Award for her role in co-founding and sustaining National Center for Women and IT (NCWIT), and the AWIS Judith Pool award. Dr. Whitney received her Ph.D. from Caltech.
